Step 1: The Beef
When it comes to beef, we like it local, natural, and delicious. Our 80/20 ground beef is the perfect blend for burgers. It is full of flavor and will hold together great when you put it on the grill. High quality beef doesn't take make much to taste delicious. Add a little salt and pepper to your patties before putting them on the grill. Using a meat thermometer, make sure to cook each burger to 160°F internal temperature.
Step 2: The Spread
While the best part of a burger is by far the beef, no burger bar is complete without your favorite toppings and sides! Start the line with a variety of buns for your guests to choose from. Pre-slice fresh veggies and cheese and place on a platter or tray for toppings. Use small mason jars for classic condiments and set out your favorite Kentucky Proud sauces for extra flavor.
On hot summer days, nothing is more refreshing than fresh fruit. Wash and slice your favorite fruits like strawberries, pineapple, melon, and grapes to thread onto skewers for easy-to-grab fruit kabobs. Heck, why not skewer some tater tots for the kiddos, too! Keep your guests satisfied and set out your favorite chips and dip to snack on.
Step 3: The Kiddos
Don't forget about the little ones! Sliders for a burger bar are the perfect size for kids and they will love building their own burger with all their favorite toppings. Keep them entertained with a simple coloring station. Cover a coffee table with butcher paper, set out a bucket of crayons, and let their creativity run wild.
Step 4: Kentuckify It
Show your Kentucky pride with more than just local beef. Kentucky Proud sauces are a great way for guests to add local flavors to their burgers. Keep them hydrated with your favorite Kentucky beverages like Ale-8-One. With one simple step, you can impress them even further! Using a Kentucky state cookie cutter, turn everyday Rice Krispie Treats into tasty bites of the Bluegrass.
